Last updated: August 2026
Welcome to Bird Enthusiasts Platform (“Bird Enthusiasts Platform,” “the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Platform, including its applications, websites, membership services, competitions, veterinary services, courses, marketplace features, certificates, community features, and other services we may provide.
By creating an account, registering as a member, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of the Terms and Guest Access
By creating an account or using Bird Enthusiasts Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
You may browse public content as a guest without creating an account and without providing personal information. An account is required only when you choose to access membership features or other services that require registration or identification.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use services that require acceptance of them.
2. Eligibility and User Information
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law, to use the Platform.
When registering or using member services, you agree to provide information that is:
- accurate;
- current;
- complete;
- related to your actual identity; and
- yours to provide.
You must not register using another person's identity or intentionally provide false or misleading information.
3. Membership and Verified Identity
Bird Enthusiasts Platform supports membership services for bird clubs.
Membership records, competition entries, judging results, and certificates may constitute official Platform or club records issued in the name of a specific person.
Completing a member profile may therefore require:
- your full name;
- a verified mobile phone number; and
- your Saudi National ID or Iqama number.
These requirements are intended to verify the identity of members, maintain one membership per person, reduce impersonation and duplicate registrations, and protect the integrity of competitions, judging records, and certificates.
Registering using another person's identity or maintaining unauthorized duplicate membership accounts may result in suspension or termination and may also result in cancellation of related competition entries, results, memberships, or certificates.
National ID/Iqama information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and is not displayed publicly.
If you are the registered representative of a club, you may be required to transfer that responsibility to another authorized member before deletion of your account can be completed.
4. Account Security and Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, passwords, authentication methods, and devices used to access the Platform.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of:
- unauthorized access to your account;
- loss or compromise of your credentials; or
- suspicious activity involving your account.
You must not knowingly allow another person to impersonate you through your account.
5. Acceptable Use, Communication, and Conduct
You must use the Platform respectfully and lawfully.
You must not use the Platform to:
- harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate another person;
- publish defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- commit fraud or misrepresentation;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- distribute malware or malicious code;
- manipulate competitions, judging processes, records, or certificates; or
- engage in conduct contrary to applicable law or public morals.
We may remove prohibited content or take action against accounts that violate these rules.
6. External Links, Advertising, and Off-Platform Promotion
Unless specifically permitted by the Platform, users must not use public chats, community areas, or similar Platform features to:
- publish unsolicited external links;
- advertise unrelated external products or services;
- promote unauthorized external social-media groups or messaging groups;
- conduct spam campaigns; or
- redirect users away from the Platform for prohibited or fraudulent purposes.
Serious or repeated violations may result in content removal, restrictions, suspension, or termination of the account.
This section does not prohibit ordinary references or links that the Platform expressly allows or that are reasonably necessary for legitimate use of a feature.
7. Wildlife, Environmental, and Legal Compliance
You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, licences, permits, and official requirements relating to birds, wildlife, breeding, possession, transportation, import, export, display, and trade.
You must not use the Platform to offer, advertise, acquire, sell, exchange, or otherwise deal in birds or wildlife where doing so is prohibited or requires authorization that you do not possess.
This includes compliance, where applicable, with requirements of:
- the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture;
- the National Center for Wildlife; and
- other competent governmental or regulatory authorities.
Users are responsible for verifying that their activities and birds comply with applicable regulations before publishing a listing, entering a competition, transferring ownership, importing, exporting, breeding, or carrying out another regulated activity.
The Platform may remove listings or content and may restrict accounts where we reasonably believe an activity violates applicable wildlife or environmental requirements.
8. Your Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of original photographs, bird records, written content, and other materials that you create and upload to the Platform, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
By uploading or posting content, you grant Bird Enthusiasts Platform a non-exclusive, limited licence to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and use that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate and provide the services you request, including:
- member profiles;
- competitions;
- judging;
- certificates;
- bird records;
- community features;
- marketplace features;
- support; and
- other relevant Platform functionality.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to content you upload.
All intellectual property owned or developed by Bird Enthusiasts Platform—including the Platform's software, source code, designs, interfaces, logos, databases, algorithms, documentation, educational materials, and original Platform content—remains the property of Bird Enthusiasts Platform or its respective licensors.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit Platform-owned intellectual property except where permitted by law or with our prior written permission.
9. Accuracy of Bird Records
You are responsible for information you enter into bird profiles, bird tracking records, pedigree records, breeding histories, vaccination records, health records, competition entries, and other records.
You agree not to intentionally:
- falsify pedigree information;
- alter or fabricate vaccination records;
- falsify ownership or ring information;
- manipulate competition records; or
- submit misleading information to obtain a certificate, result, classification, or other benefit.
Where we discover information that appears inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading, we may investigate, request supporting documentation, correct or restrict the relevant record, cancel a certificate or competition result, or take action against the associated account.
10. Veterinary Services
Veterinary consultations or information provided remotely through the Platform are intended for guidance and preliminary assistance.
Remote consultation does not replace an appropriate in-person clinical examination by a licensed veterinary professional where such examination is necessary.
You remain responsible for deciding when your bird requires direct veterinary treatment or emergency care.
Information supplied through the Platform should not be interpreted as a guarantee of diagnosis, treatment outcome, recovery, or survival.
Veterinary professionals providing services through the Platform remain responsible for their professional services in accordance with applicable professional and legal requirements.
11. Competitions and Judging
Bird competitions offered or managed through the Platform may be subject to:
- competition-specific rules;
- eligibility requirements;
- classification criteria;
- judging standards; and
- decisions of authorized judging committees.
By entering a competition, you agree to comply with its applicable rules.
Judging decisions and finalized competition results are considered final within the applicable competition process, except where the Platform or competition rules expressly provide a review, objection, correction, or appeal procedure.
We may cancel or correct a result where fraud, inaccurate records, technical error, eligibility problems, manipulation, or another material irregularity is established.
12. Training Courses and Educational Services
The Platform may provide courses, lessons, training programs, examinations, evaluations, and educational certificates.
Completion of content alone does not necessarily guarantee issuance of a certificate.
Where a course includes academic, practical, attendance, examination, or assessment requirements, the Platform or relevant training provider may grant or withhold a completion or achievement certificate according to the published requirements and the participant's performance.
Educational materials provided through the Platform may be protected by intellectual-property rights and may not be copied, resold, redistributed, recorded, or republished without permission where such use is prohibited.
13. Certificates and Official Records
The Platform may issue certificates or documented records relating to members, birds, competitions, judging, courses, or other Platform services.
Certificates are issued on the basis of information, records, examinations, assessments, or verification available to the Platform at the time of issuance.
We reserve the right to:
- correct a certificate;
- suspend its validity;
- revoke it;
- mark it as invalid; or
- issue a replacement,
where we subsequently discover material inaccuracies, fraud, falsified records, eligibility problems, administrative errors, or other circumstances that undermine its validity.
Users must not alter, forge, falsify, or misuse certificates issued through the Platform.
14. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Payments
Certain services may require:
- a paid subscription;
- a one-time purchase;
- competition fees;
- certification fees;
- course fees; or
- other charges displayed before purchase.
Applicable prices, billing terms, and renewal information will be displayed before you complete the relevant transaction.
Payments may be processed through approved payment providers, Apple App Store, Google Play, or other payment methods made available through the Platform.
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to the applicable store's payment, cancellation, subscription, and refund terms.
Unless otherwise required by law or the applicable payment platform, fees already charged are subject to the cancellation and refund terms shown for the relevant service.
15. Responsibility for Birds and Disclaimer Regarding Loss, Illness, and Death
Keeping, breeding, transporting, treating, purchasing, selling, competing with, or otherwise caring for live birds involves risks that cannot always be predicted or controlled.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bird Enthusiasts Platform does not guarantee the health, condition, fertility, performance, recovery, or survival of any bird.
The Platform is not responsible merely because a bird suffers illness, injury, deterioration, breeding failure, loss, or death after:
- use of the Platform;
- participation in a Platform service;
- reading general educational information; or
- receiving general or remote guidance.
Users remain responsible for husbandry decisions and for obtaining appropriate professional veterinary examination where needed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
16. Platform Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
The Platform may be temporarily unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- technical failures;
- software updates;
- hosting or network problems;
- security incidents;
- third-party service interruptions;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue Platform features where reasonably necessary.
Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that significantly affect users.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may integrate with, reference, or provide access to third-party products or services, including payment providers, authentication providers, app stores, veterinary professionals, and other service providers.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, professional obligations, and operating rules.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bird Enthusiasts Platform is not responsible for independent third-party content, websites, products, or services that we do not control.
The presence of a third-party link or integration does not necessarily constitute endorsement of all content or practices of that third party.
18. Suspension and Termination of Accounts
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where we reasonably determine that the user has:
- materially violated these Terms;
- engaged in fraud or impersonation;
- intentionally submitted falsified records;
- manipulated competitions or certificates;
- seriously or repeatedly abused other users;
- compromised Platform security;
- used the Platform for prohibited wildlife activities;
- violated applicable laws or governmental requirements; or
- created a material risk to the Platform, its users, clubs, or service providers.
For serious violations, action may be taken without prior notice where immediate restriction is reasonably necessary to protect users, official records, Platform security, wildlife, or legal compliance.
Where appropriate and legally required, users may be given notice or an opportunity to address an issue.
Termination may also result in cancellation or invalidation of records, certificates, competition entries, or results that were obtained through fraud, falsification, or material violation of these Terms.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary because of:
- changes to the Platform;
- new services or features;
- security requirements;
- operational requirements;
- changes in applicable law or regulations; or
- other legitimate business requirements.
When a change is material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate or legally required, provide additional notice.
Where applicable law requires renewed consent to a material change, we will request it.
Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing Law, Disputes, and Contact
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or use of the Platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the competent courts in Riyadh, where legally applicable.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
